Board of Commissioners
Meeting Schedule

 The Lavonia Housing Authority Board of Commissioners (BOC) meets on the second (2^nd) Thursday of every 
 other month beginning at 5:30 PM. The BOC meetings are held at the Starr Whitlow Office Building, 13032
 Jones St. in Lavonia. The specific meeting months are as follows:

Resident Advisory Board
Meeting Schedule

 The Lavonia Housing Authority Resident Advisory Board (RAB) meets on the third (3^rd) Thursday of every other
 month beginning at 4:00 PM. The specific meeting months are the same as the Board of Commissioners listed
 above. The RAB meetings are held at the Starr Whitlow Office Building, 13032 Jones St. in Lavonia.

 The Resident Advisory Board meetings are open to any resident of legal age and a lease holder or a member
 of a lease holder’s household within the Lavonia Housing Authority’s jurisdiction.

 The purpose of the RAB is to advise the Housing Authority management on issues of importance to the
 residents. LHA Management will ensure that changes in the Housing Authority’s policies and procedures,
 the 5-year and annual plans and other matters of importance to the residents will be discussed with the RAB 
 and their recommendations will be considered before final action is taken.
